Kirsty O'Keeffe is a Irish based photographer. Kirsty was winner of the Showcase Peoples Award 2011 and has been shortlisted
for the Artists Award 2011. The breif required a solution that showcased her work with an empasis on the images and not the site design. and a slick horizontal scrolling gallery to engage user interaction with her portfolio.
J Query Functionality was deployed to allow seamless fast horizontal scrolling across galleries and all images are displayed at a large
format size for maximum impact.

The whole website is actually
one page with j query deployed to scroll horizontally through the various galleries and sections.

Navigation
Users can scroll through the galleries using the top navigation system or through sequential images in each gallery by using the next and previous links under each image.

Cross Platform Functionality
As the site deploys a horizontal srolling technique measures were taken to ensure stability acros multiple OS platforms, including the iPhone system.

Large Display and Seamless Scrolling
User interaction was enhanced by using slick srolling functionality to engage users and focus was kept on image display as opposed to site background design to ensure maximun effect with viewers.
