City Square is the South East's Premier Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Waterford City with over 30 stores including Debenhams, River Island, Oasis, Wallis & Dunnes. We redesigned their online identity to reflect their new branding with an emphasis on online marketing, social media campaigns and online competitions. Through careful monitoring, timing and research we were able to significantly increase the traffic to the new website and more than double the the number of subscriptions to their store newsletters,
social media campaigns on facebook, and online competitions.
An audit tracking of user behaviour and monitoring of the effevtiveness of online campaigns, along with a fresh comtemporary design were key elements to making this project a success.

automatically in the banner.
Prominant placement of promoted sections and ease of use for users was key. Links to all main sections are available here as well as newsletter sign up, search functionality and links to social media apps.

Store Directory
A full Store directory with a dedicated page for each store and store categories was also provided.
Stores can display info on special offers and promotions on their own dedicated page or in the special offers section.

Facebook Campaigns
A facebook 'like this page' section was set up and social media campaigns and competitions ran concurrently on City Square website and on Facebook to help promote the new site and user subcscription to newsletters and competitions..

Monitored Newsletters
A powerful monitored newsletter system was developed where users can sign up and unsubscribe at any time and we can monitor the success and effectiveness of campaigns and provide stats for market research.

Promotions & Competitions
We designed and developed various campaigns, offers and competitions to increase and promote their on-line presence.
We helped to increase subscriptions and user interaction with events and promotions by over 250 %

A Special Offers section was
also developed so stores can run various offers and promotions through the website.

Search Engine Optmisation
Aa the site was already well established in search engines a lot of care was taken to reduce the adverse effect of a new build on site rankings in Google.
Keyword density seraches were undertaken, and pages targeted specifically for Google were designed along with custom 404 pages to ensure a smooth transition to the new build.
